Oh really.

It just shows how pathetic and low-life a person is, when the first place you go to after Promos is the library. Of course it dosen't apply to attached people -- who have a vibrant and wholesome lovelife. :)

Promos are over. Funny actually. It dosen't feel that way at all. It feels sad. Like you've suddenly lost your target, and hence standing in the middle of nowhere, questioning yourself what should you do next?

But then when I got home, it dawned on me in a flash, that there were actually soooooooooo much to accomplish after Promos. So I got happy again. Even though I knew I was going to get retained. Band, Interact, supplementary bdaes, NYAA, dates that I own, dates that I promised, and not forgetting the lovable most adorable PW.

People say that there's a fine thin teeny weeny line between hate and love. Therefore, I love PW. This way, it's much easier to just cross over to either side. ......Didn't make sense that one eh.

Ahhhh didn't go for Wushu today. Had a blasted headache when I got home. Everytime you get up and walk around your head will pound like there's a storm in there. It's just like a hangover.
Awful crap.

Just watched some interviews with the cast of F.R.I.E.N.D.S. They're actually really nice people, very sincere and stuff, in the interview at least. Very human. I don't know why I'm so addicted to F.R.I.E.N.D.S. Right now, I'm at the beginning of Season 6 and I just can't stop. I'm so addicted that I joined a friends forum, which I only do for what I'm really interested in. Ok, partially to get the extra videos, and also find out another aspect of the fans of F.R.I.E.N.D.S. It was great. Though I can't find a nice avatar.

Oh wow, now that exams are over, I can get back to my forums. Multistars, Runboard, and Neoseeker. Haha, she noticed my "active months", which are around the end and begining of a year. For the rest of it, I just dissapear into thin air. Ah well.

Anyway, CRUSH ALERT. *siren sounds* Of course I can't say the name out here (he'll know!), but I suddenly realised that I've been liking on and off all this while and now it's just got a little deeper.

It's really weird how I'm more attracted to tall guys. Must be from my Mom. She's really short (15something cm), and hence my Dad is really tall (178 cm). It's amazing how I turned out to be right in the middle, with a larger extent to my Mom. WHY CAN'T I BE LIKE MY DAD~~~~~~

There no school next week!!!!!! I'm really sorry for those who still have papers but I HAVE NO SCHOOL NEXT WEEK!!!!!! But my house is really noisy these days, with people upstairs renovating their ENTIRE FLOOR, and people building a LIFT on the next building. Sheesh. I think I'll just go out everyday to get some peace and quiet.

I'M ADDICTED TO COFFEE! Everyday I find myself unconciously reaching into the fridge, and taking out a can of Nescafe Original. Must be an aftereffect of Promos. Anyways, time to go shopping again. Not aimless, not window, and definitely not thereuputic. I'm gonna go shopping with a LIST and OBJECTIVES.

Hengelaosai is the best medicine, assuming that laughter is the best medicine in the world. Thats great is second place ahohohoho. Ehehehe new favourite.

Once again, I LOVE FRIENDS.

And... I LOVE FRIENDS AGAIN. :)

REACT

React was pretty ok, in all. My groups was all right, the games were ok, organisation was ok and things ran okly. I think we raised our band profile by a bit when people saw a huge HUGE band gathered in the amphi playing music.

Lazy to blog all the details but here's some funny highlights from the debrief which I seem to remember much more clearly than others.

"Stop it Yiheng, you insufferable tweet!"
-- Hanxin

If you, reader, remember the specific context of when this was said, you will find it funny. For those who don't remember, let me try to reanact the situation. However, I doubt that it would be as funny as if you witnessed it. Hanxin was trying desperately to start debrief after a long day and everyone is tired. However, she is constantly interrupted by Yiheng's piano playing and singing, accompanied by who else, Jeff of course. Frustrated, Hanxin (our literature genius), burst out into this sentence, effectively shutting Yiheng up.

Oh of course, our ABM has contributed some memorable quotes too. Sitting on the chair in the varese after lugging a tuba plus case from RJ to RI, a very exhausted Chienyeh (flute-player) said. "This is the heaviest thing I've ever carried in my LIFE!" After a while, we find him carrying a bucket of stands, exclaiming "THIS is the heaviest thing I've ever carried in my LIFE!" (or something to that extent) Confused?

It is really wonderful to hear this exchange of words between Wanxian and Chienyeh.
"Why are you so BARBARIC?"
"Why are you so NIANG2?"

And last but not least, we have the "What ho what ho what ho!"

Which is a really nice way to end React.

Steve Irwin, crocodile hunter, died on Monday because of a stingray attack. It's really really sad actually, that he had lost in his last attempt to cheat death. But what a guy. Seriously, he's one in a million. Totally characterised crocodile hunters and brought a lot of fresh stuff into the animal world. Will miss him.

On another note though, Niall Ferguson, Harvard historian/professor, is one brilliant man. Published an article in the latest issue of TIMES about the 911 and the US which is totally genius. Everybody pls go read it. It rocked my socks off.

So far, about 3 people, excluding my mom, have said that I look/is like KSS. Now, I really don't know whether to laugh or cry.

I love my computer. It's really slow.

Went back to NY yesterday. Pretty exciting, although was a bit pissified at some parts but never mind. Saw a few teachers only since so many of them left, but saw many friends! :) Yinxu was telling me how this year's celebrations rocked, about the local delight uncle and auntie doing a hot salsa dance. And according to her, it was really good too! The auntie was pretty and the uncle was really hot. I knew I should have ponned RJ teacher's day celebrations. It was pretty crap.

Apparently, 10 english department teachers left the school, and many others as well, due to outrageous pay offered by NUS Science and Math school. Grrr... And none of my favourite teachers are left. Ms Teo is in Yuhua/Nanhua, Ms Lydia Teo is MIA when I went back and Ms Ong Siok Cheng is in sports school. The last time I saw her was on Singapore Idol. And many others are gone as well. Mrs Seah of JPS is apparently not there too. Teacher's Day is just not fun anymore.

After NY, went to have lunch with 411ers... well, some of them. Then went to watch MONSTER HOUSE with Eunice (girlfriend?), Sihui (part-time stead), Junhua (who is truly and essentially an arty now) and Yihan (miss playing her bball!). The movie was pretty good. Worth my money. :) Good character development and an unchartered plot. Produced by Steven Speilberg so whaddya expect? Go catch it for some quality entertainment.

Eeeeee my brother is getting harder and harder to fight with. His brand of logic is unreasonable, irrefutable and never been before seen anywhere else in the world. IRRITATINg. And he bawls and cries and wails like a girl. Well, at least worse than me. It's frustrating to live with him. Everyday there's at least one argument pitching my parents and me against him. He makes the whole household upset, angry and cyring. I'm really scared that something would happen to my parents because of the arguments. And it's deterioting week by week. Praying that something would happen to break the cycle and restore whatever peace there was before my rebellious brother burst into the scene.

REACT is on Monday. Looking forward to it. And everything else that's going to happen.
