YELLOW BELT! :)
I realised Karl Marx is an exceedingly interesting guy. No doubt crazy, but really interesting. I ponder what traumatising life experiences caused him to tick this way. Fascinating, the thought of a classless society, albeit totally impossible in the man eat man world.
Got my yellow belt on Friday! But I only topped the class for sparing. Yinjie beat me at tao4lu4 by just 1.33 points. If only I had not been distracted by the things flopping loosely around my head (ie. my hairband that loosened and fell out), and not forget about the last move.... What the heck. Forget it.
I like Zhang Yimou's colour coordination. Stunning. Everyone, please watch HERO tonight.

Chem Focus
Today at Chem Focus, Sranj made a great discovery.
"Hey, Mr Lai's pants has a zip at the side. Like a woman's skirt."
So Ruth and me checked it out and indeed, there was a little zip there, like a woman's skirt, thereby bursting into laughter. Then we began to discuss the uses for that particular zip. And somehow, the shitting idea came to me. I think it's quite logical but Ruth and Sranj thinks it's totally hilarious.
Well, you see, when he goes to the toilet to pass motion, he could just unzip the sidezip, and his pants will flap open, allowing him to conveniently do his business. Hmmmm. Not funny wad.
Anyways, I shouldn't even publish that idea. Later he see. 0_o
Anyways, I'm contemplating that the pair of pants were brought in UK, cos of the shape of the pants, and of course, the zip. :) Which actually dosen't explain my reasoning so never mind.
Wooooo! It's PW madness week! GOGOGOGOGOGOGOGOGOGOGO!

Blogsurfing.
Yanyun blogged about the Mahidol trip. Woooohooo, and brought back all the memories. Like when the seniors crashed me and ek's shared room, which is stupidly the room adjacent to that of the teachers, and got busted, and scolded. Or when me and ek "accidentally" caught the uncensored version of The Beach, where Leonardo had sex with the cheiftainess in the camp, and was thoroughly appalled. Hahaha, many more but I lazy to write. Per se, I love NYCB.
Mr. Su has a blog! And it's a really mature one. I didn't know he loves photography soooooo much. He's just like his ex-classmate Ding Ding! Oh and both of them are going to study engi in US. What conincidence. As I read his blog, it struck me how complex and adult Mr. Su is. It was then that somehow empathy and understanding, admiration and fear comes along. Awed but afraid. Chilled but fascinated.
His photos are beautifully done. My Mom noticed how suddenly my mudanely coloured monitor screen became so varied in colours, and came to peep. And she showered Mr. Su's blog with praises (she was once a part-amatuer-part-professional photographer) and said that this was a very interesting character. Though she refused to believe that this guy in a beanie was my relief math teacher.
What a blog. What a guy. So renaissance. And he looks cute in that beanie! :)
There's so much difference in the feeling that you get when you pon stuff in RJ and JJ. You pon in RJ to mug. You pon in JJ to run around and laugh. Woooo! JJ class 06S18~~~ remember that physics lab lesson we ponned? Hell of an adventure that one. Really exciting. Must sprint here and hide there, and run at the slightest sound of footsteps, into the female toilet where he can't catch us. I felt like a secret spy. Running from law. What an exciting life. CHRISTOPHER!! CLASS OUTING YOU CT REP YOU IRRESPONSIBLE BOMB. :(
Oh my it's like how late? Ok don't answer. My brother has no school tomorrow! And the day after. For some PSLE reason. Grumble grumble.
Promos are coming. I study for you. In order to justify my tears, please don't go so soon. It's just too early. He needs you. HE needs you. I need you too. So please, I'll try my best to keep you here, for him and HIM, so that you won't go. The time is not right. It's not supposed to be this way. I pray to God to keep you here, even longer than I do. That's why in the end, I'll study for you.

Some quiz that was. Hmmm. Angels and Demons is going to be out in a movie. And it has the same screenwriter. So it's a misfortune in disguise, considering how it will turn out to be like Da Vinci. And kick Tom Hanks out. Some Robert Langdon he was.

HIGH.
She was just like a Sim when she did that la. It was like Annalyn went to click on Cheryl, and clicked at the tree, and selected the "Look" option. And Cheryl walked over to examine the tree. WOoooo. Some hilarious business.
Weeee. Wanna play Sims 2.
Capoiera was fun!! Other than the normal workouts, and a unwilling, embarrasing and
It went like this. Basic beat was clap-clap-clap. "Chi chi chin la vous viora" And just repeated that line while bulging muscles coach pyschomotoed the tamporin, and the racoon coach played the bobo or something while singing. Really immersing into a different culture.
Opps. Kept saying somb bomb these days. Already recieved lots of complaints. Yikes, will try to reduce them.
Mouline Rouge is some bo-... ok, an arty and abstract movie. I like the way the director manipulated colours and special effects, and how it's all going inside Christian's head, so all the techniques used were most likely expressive of what he was feeling then. May not be the exact thing but still reflects a certain truth. Wonderful movie.
The greatest thing
you'll ever learn
is to love
and be loved
in return.
Quite true, to a certain extent. Oh my. I can just see it: "The greatest thing you'll ever learn is to love and be loved in return" Discuss.
O_o Some ****.

Most Beautiful
The story is sad! And the dancing, the flow, the emotions, the jumps, were all so nuanced that it just brings out the hurt feeling even more. Well done, Travis. And Martha, I think.
It was taken from So You Think You Can Dance Season 2, which is nearing it's end in the US, but is nowhere near it's begining here.
Also just watched (from the same show, same site), a really strange hiphop dance, with the dancers in trenchcoats! But still pretty cool. See below. I think it's Ivan and Donyelle.
BELOVED, WATCH.
The beach wear section was hilarious la. Won't talk about the adults one but the kids' was pretty ownage, by this strutting little girl wearing minimum amounts of bikini. Totally hilarious. Lucky draw also. One of our guys WON the 8th prize la! Which he insists, after holding it throughout the ride home, that it's a kettle. Left Sentosa quite rosy (like Toon!) and sandy.
Here's the heartbreaking part about today. After reaching Somerset for tuition from Sentosa, I went into the MRT toilet to change. Feeling sticky with a bit of sand, I took off my watch and washed my hands to my elbow with soap and water. After that, I dried up and walked out of the door. Went to get some coffee at coffee bean and looked at my wrist to check the time. My watch was not there anymore, as you can guess. I had left it by the sink in the MRT toilet. So I dashed back with hopes of finding it, but it wasn't there anymore. Either someone took it, or stole it. Asked the cleaning lady, asked the cleaning uncle, asked the station master, asked passers-by, but no one has seen my watch. Then I went to coffee bean to check but the cashier said that no one had seen a green Addidas watch today. I had officially lost my most beloved watch.
It was given to me as my 15th birthday present by my Mom, so you can guess how much sentiment went into it. It was my closest item ever, cos I seldom took it off and always wore it to sleep. It created a distinctive tanline on my wrist that never seem fade. I dare to say that it's been through sweet and bitter times with me.
Now, I won't be able to press the "light" button in the middle of the night to check the time and go back sleeping. I can't gauge accurately what time 157 will come in the morning. I can't countdown precisely to when the bell rings in school. So many things I can't do. Yes it sounds silly, but that watch was a peice of me. And now I'll never see it again.
I JUST WANT MY WATCH BACK.
:(

Whoopdee.
Eton guys are so cool. They wear tail coats, tux, pin-striped pants, dress shirts, and bowtie in school, making them look so good. I want. As in the dressing. Not the guys.
Capoeira is really different from any martial arts I've seen before. It's movements are very unlikely and strange. It's a bit like yoga, so for sure we worked up a sweat today. Kind of similar to Wushu, the part where you have to go "sit" without a chair, aka ma3 bu4.
And the instructor is so cute! He's really good, very short, bulging with muscles, and speaks heavily accented English that none of us understand.
"2 qios!" Means 2 queues. Means line up in 2 lines.
"Mofv mofv." Means move move.
"I lyke dis classss." Means he likes us.
And we have to sing and clap too, to this instrument called billybou. Or biddibou. Can't wait for next week.
Padded weaponry looks cool too! The instructor is super enthu, and totally thrashed Wang. Wacked him non-stop like a doll like that. Super funny and well, pathetic at the same time. Next time must try.
Whooooooooooooooooopdee. So tired. Ahhhhh there's band tomorrow.
