The Ten Commandments of Korean Drama

Due to the latest hype about hallyu and its subsequent intriguing dramas, I shall post the ten commandments of Korean Dramas.

The Ten Commandments of Korean Dramas

1. There must be a love triangle/rectangle.

2. Lead character must die of cancer. (or any other fatal disease)

3. Character related to lead character must have a car accident. (turning out to be fatal or have long-lasting effects)

4. Lead character must be awfully kind and nice and sometimes gets bullied.

5. Lead character must have a loud friends who has the positive opposite personality.

6. One of the lead character must have unlimited amounts of money and a bottomless band account. (ie. rich)

7. Villain must be good-looking (most of the times via plastic surgery), proud, arrogant, vicious, and a bastard/bitch.

8. There must be limited kissing and sex scenes. (as little as possible)

9. There must be breathtaking, heart wrenching scenery and soundtrack.

10. Audiences will use up at least one packet of tissue in the process of watching the drama.

Disclaimer: Please note that this list has properties of generalisation and does not apply to ALL (but most la) korean dramas. Also, this list is subjected to copyright laws, is entirely fictionous, and is purely composed from the imagination of the writer. No harm is intended.
